Come out to support a great cause and enjoy a wonderful ride that is only available once a year on the King Ranch. This is the ONLY public bike ride through the famous King Ranch.

Bike Ride for a Cause

Texas Lions Camp for Special Needs Children in Kerrville, TX has been operating over 75 years now, providing no-cost camping opportunities for over 85,000 Texas children ages 8-16 yrs, to date. 21 programs on 515 hilltop acres provide an experience of a lifetime and give a “can do” attitude to these special children. Online Registration

This is the preferred method to register for the A Ride on the Wild Side bike ride. Be one of the first 125 riders assured to get a cool t-shirt! Please click on the button below to complete the online registration. When you click on the button below, you will be taken to a secure website to complete your registration information. Once you submit and pay for your registration, you will return to this website. Online registration ends April 24, 2026 at 6:00pm.

In-Person Registration

Although we very much encourage you to pre-register before the deadline of April 24, 2026, you are welcome to register in person on the morning of the A Ride on the Wild Side. However, due to the number of registrants, t-shirts and other gifts given for registrants are for online and by mail registrants first and then first-come, first-serve for in-person registrants. For in-person registration, please use the information provided to the right to assist with when and where to go.


Waiver and Release Form

King Ranch is a privately owned, working cattle ranch – they have graciously allowed us access to their land, and we are proud our safety protocols have prevented harm to person or property over these past 20 years. We are required to have all volunteers and riders alike execute the attached waiver and release form.

16.5k race map for A Ride on the Wild Side

16.5K - King Ranch Loop
Begin at the Start Point and is the King Ranch loop once then back to the Start/Finish Point.

58.8k race map for A Ride on the Wild Side

58.8K - King Ranch & Ricardo Loop
Begin at the Start Point complete the King Ranch loop then back to the Start Point and out towards Ricardo, complete the loop, and head back to the Start/Finish Point.

105.8k race map for A Ride on the Wild Side

105.8K - King Ranch and Loyola Beach Loop
Begin at the Start Point complete the King Ranch Loop and then continue on heading South out of Kingsville to Loyola Beach and then head back to the Start/Finish Point.
